Our team members are also involved in teaching young kids in the local villages near our field sites, during our spare time. The closest school is at about 8 hours walk; thus, most children (and even adults) haven't had the opportunity to go to school. We took it as one of our missions to educate them and help them learn even the most basic skills as writing and counting.
